Join us for an enchanting evening celebrating the power of words! Experience a diverse array of poetry readings, captivating book passages, and soulful songs performed by talented individuals. Connect with like-minded women in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. Come and join us for what would have been Ada’s birthday.
Guided Walks
A 1.5-hour walking tour through Crewe exploring buildings and spaces linked to Ada’s life—from the factory floors to the places where she raised her voice for change.
Taking place on the following dates:
- 14th March 11am
- 18th April 1pm
- 16th May 11am
- 13th June 1pm
The cost of the walk is £5 per person.
- Meeting at the Market Centre where we will have a chance to view the Ada exhibition.
- Lyceum Square to visit the Ada Tiles.
- Then move to the public realm and the new Heritage Archive centre.
- UTC – to visit the college that designed the plaque plinth.
- Ada’s homes – family life.
- Moving on to visit the Blue Plaque.
- On the way back past the railway cottages.
